A note before we start: this review was first written by us in 2024 and has been refreshed for ToolHarbor. The earnings figures you will see below — $800 a day, $4,000 a week and the rest — are the claims made by The Crypto Code’s creators on their own pages. We repeat them so you know exactly what is being promised, and we label them as claims every time, because no trading system can guarantee anyone an income. Affiliate disclosure: the links on this page are affiliate links — if you register or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

The short answer

The Crypto Code is a free-to-attend online training workshop from two experienced internet marketers, Joel Peterson and Adam Short, built around their WaveBot automated crypto trading software. The training itself costs nothing to watch; what you are really being introduced to is the toolkit and the paid ecosystem behind it. The creators’ income claims are large and should be read as marketing, not as a forecast of your results — crypto trading is risky, and most people who trade lose money. If you go in with your eyes open, as a piece of education, it is a reasonable way to learn how automated crypto trading is supposed to work. If you go in expecting the software to print money on autopilot, you will be disappointed.

The Crypto Code is a training programme and software package from Joel Peterson and Adam Short, two long-time online marketers who say their automated system earns them around $1,000 on an average day. That is their claim, and it is the pitch the whole programme is built on. Before we judge it, it helps to remember the mood it was launched into.

Think back to 2022. Almost every industry took a beating that year — the traditional markets, the crypto markets, and ordinary households alike. COVID was still rippling through the economy, inflation was biting, the war in Ukraine had rattled energy and food prices, and government decisions on both sides of the Atlantic kept making people nervous about what came next. Big and small companies were cutting staff, and unemployment was expected to climb.

Crypto investors had extra reasons to be cautious. A string of well-known crypto businesses collapsed or filed for bankruptcy, and it was hard to ignore the conduct of Sam Bankman-Fried, the former FTX boss whose behaviour did lasting damage to the industry’s reputation. Against that background, Adam Short and Joel Peterson argued — more confidently than ever — that crypto was not going away, and that the right time to understand it was now, wherever the market happened to be standing. Whether or not you agree with them, that is the spirit of the offer. So let us get properly acquainted with The Crypto Code, and then decide what it is worth.

What is The Crypto Code?

At its heart, The Crypto Code is a free online workshop — a webinar-style training — in which Joel Peterson and Adam Short present their approach to making money from cryptocurrency with the help of automation. The creators say the system behind it earns them about $800 a day, and they describe an automatic setup that keeps working steadily and keeps generating income whether the market is rising or falling. Read those numbers the way we do: as the vendors’ claims, offered to get you into the (virtual) room. The workshop is where they explain the method, show the software, and walk through how a complete beginner is supposed to follow along.

Being able to turn any profit at all in uncertain times is a genuinely big deal, which is exactly why claims like these deserve a careful look rather than either blind faith or instant dismissal. Two experienced marketers say they have figured out a repeatable system. Fine — let us look at how the workshop itself is put together, because the structure tells you a lot about what you will actually learn.

How has The Crypto Code been structured?

The workshop is organised as a guided tour of the system, from the big idea down to worked examples. According to the creators, the session covers:

When has The Crypto Code been scheduled to take place?

To secure a seat, you go to the official registration page and choose one of the available session times. When this review was first written, the workshop ran several times across a weekend — for example Friday, January 20 at 11 AM and 7 PM Eastern, and Saturday, January 21 at 11 AM and 7 PM Eastern — and that pattern of multiple start times is still how the registration page works today: you pick the session that suits you and the system holds your place. Registering early matters, the creators say, because places on each session are limited.

How much does it cost to attend The Crypto Code?

The Crypto Code session itself is open to everyone and free to attend. Joel and Adam also say that attendees receive a complimentary gift they value at $297, and that everyone who registers is entered into their weekly $500 Bitcoin giveaway. Those extras are the creators’ promotions — nice if they land, but they are not the reason to attend. The reason to attend, if there is one, is the training and the chance to see the software demonstrated before deciding whether any of the paid parts of their world are worth your money.

Meet the crypto experts: Joel Peterson & Adam Short

Joel Peterson discovered the internet as a business platform back in 2002 and has been persuading people to take online opportunities seriously ever since. He got into cryptocurrency early — in 2013, the year he says he first learned about it, he built one of the first Bitcoin farms in the United States. From there he went on to launch his own bitcoin software, research and education companies, which, by his account, have grown to employ more than 40 people around the world.

One thing comes through clearly in Peterson’s story: he never wanted the “Rat Race”, as investors like to call the daily grind. He says the internet was his first hint that there was another way to live, and that cryptocurrency confirmed the decision. Above all, he talks about being grateful that leaving the race gave him more time with his wife and their six children — the lifestyle argument that sits underneath a lot of this industry’s marketing, and one worth noticing for what it is.

Adam Short’s background is in the early web. He started his career more than 20 years ago at Overture, one of the first web search engines, where he saw the internet’s potential up close. That experience led him to start an online education company, through which he taught thousands of ordinary people — Joel Peterson among them — how to build their own online businesses. He first encountered the world of crypto in 2017, immediately saw it as a field with enormous promise, and says he has spent the years since mastering the foundations of market timing.

Pros and cons of The Crypto Code

Pros

  • You learn how people set out to make money trading cryptocurrencies, explained from the ground up.
  • It can genuinely improve your capacity to pay your way — knowledge first, as with any skill.
  • The webinar runs at several different times, so most people can find a slot that fits.
  • The key ideas behind trading the crypto market are laid out for you in one sitting, at no cost.

Cons

  • Crypto trading is volatile and dangerous for your capital; investing in a turbulent market can lose you money, quickly.
  • There are no promises of success — if the strategy does not work for you, nothing in the programme changes that.

What The Crypto Code will explain to you

According to the producers of the webinar, attendees come away understanding the opportunity in more detail, the fundamentals of getting started, and how automated crypto trading is supposed to function. Specifically, the session promises to cover:

How to invest in cryptocurrencies and make $4,000 each week

That heading, in the creators’ own framing, is the promise at the centre of the workshop — and it deserves to be read carefully rather than at face value. What the training genuinely offers, beneath the headline, is an explanation of how Joel and Adam say they made over $8,803 in two weeks while putting in very little effort, using their software. Previous students, they say, also share their experiences during the session. Our honest translation: you will hear a method, some numbers the creators have chosen to highlight, and an invitation to try the toolkit yourself. Whether anything like $4,000 a week is achievable for a typical beginner is a completely different question — and no honest review can answer it with a yes.

What kind of profit can you expect from The Crypto Code?

The creators’ version goes like this: by using automated trading software for steady earnings, together with what they call a secret software tool that works fast and profits consistently, they say you can make up to $800 per day, in their words “risk-free”, whatever direction the market moves. Joel and Adam claim that most of their students can reach comparable results without extensive training or specialist expertise. The pair also insist, in the webinar, that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme — while, at the same time, continuing to promise substantial returns from software that runs largely without you. Those two ideas sit uneasily together, and it is worth noticing the tension.

Here is our version, and it matters more: there is no such thing as risk-free crypto trading. Cryptocurrency prices swing violently, automated systems can and do lose money — sometimes faster than a human would, because they keep trading — and your earnings, if any, are very unlikely to match the creators’ headline examples. Treat the profit section of the sales pitch as advertising for a training programme. Be cautious, start (if you start at all) with money whose loss would not hurt you, and never invest on the strength of a webinar’s numbers alone.

A straight word on risk: every figure in this review — $1,000 a day, $800 a day, $4,000 a week, $8,803 in two weeks — is a claim made by The Crypto Code’s creators, not a result we have verified and not a promise of what you will earn. Crypto trading carries a substantial risk of loss, and most retail traders lose money. Nothing here is financial advice.

The Crypto Code contents and bonuses

People who take part in the webinar get access to the WaveBot Toolkit, plus a set of bonuses. Here is what the creators list:

The WaveBot Toolkit. The core of the offer: the online trading programme itself, with setup instructions, so you can access the software and configure it the way the training teaches.

Is The Crypto Code a genuine offering or a scam?

You might be wondering whether there is a catch to this seminar. According to its creators, there is not: the company will not try to con you or spam you, and all they ask for in order to remind you about the event is your email address — giving a phone number is optional. There are no additional costs for the workshop itself, and no credit card is required to attend. On those points, our 2024 check agreed, and nothing about the current registration page changes that: it is a real, scheduled training from two marketers with a long public track record, delivered through a normal webinar platform, and sold afterwards through ClickBank.

The honest “catch” is a different one, and it was in our original review too: it is unlikely that you will earn $800 steadily, every day, from this or any other system. Expect more modest outcomes — including, quite possibly, losses — from a free programme and its toolkit. The offer is genuine as a training event; it is the size of the implied results that should be heavily discounted.

Conclusion

Pulling the research together: Joel Peterson and Adam Short built The Crypto Code as a way for investors of every experience level to try to profit from the cryptocurrency market, using training plus software rather than guesswork. As of this writing, plenty about the system’s inner workings — what exactly lets it claim to earn money passively, whatever the market is doing — only becomes clear inside the session itself. The team promises to cover the fundamentals and demonstrate the system live during the workshop, which is where attendees get their real answers. Perhaps the most valuable part of the free programme is simply the chance to hear the case studies, look at the toolkit up close, and judge for yourself whether The Crypto Code fits your own financial goals — before any money changes hands. Attend it as education, weigh the claims the way this review has, and it can be an hour well spent. Attend it as a promise, and you are setting yourself up to be disappointed.
